Who all here is going going to make new character on a new server?

You are practically, most of the game is getting a complete overhaul :P.

no, it's really not. i'd be giving up 2 years worth of effort. it's like thinking about if i did something like clicked a bad link i can't imagine me signing up for the game again. it's just too much effort i'd have to redo.

i'm not saying i won't take my alt up to see the new story, but i'm talking about completely removing all the effort and work i've done and start over.

Oh no, I wasn't expecting anyone to forget about their mains, I am keeping my main even :P. I'm just saying that throughout the story I wanna experience in a new body till I complete the main story arc. then I'll do it all over again with my Main and continue where I left off with my main.

now see that i agree with. now remember until just a little bit ago we were told we couldn't transfer servers without starting over. i had in mind the starting a new char to play on a regional server..... that i would have just kept my main and not started over.

i'm soooooo glad i seen that correction.

Gonna make one and play the lv1~30 content that I'd otherwise never play on my main character.

I'll probably make as many as I can for the hell of it, though I'll still focus on doing things on one server.

Probably will not. Will do some new characters though, to get the "new character" experience of ARR, as well as experience the other town/GC storylines.
