IDEA! New races~

I like the idea of new races but I doubt we'll see them anytime soon. We'll probably get costumed versions or something though.

Hey, during a interesting conversation in one of my LS today, we got to the conclusion that there are a lot of races from other Final Fantasy games that could be added to XIV.

These are some that we saw that could be potentially loved by players.

Of course, this is an idea for the far future, and it would really cool if more things from old FF games were to appear in XIV, creating more of a connection between all of them.

You can't play them can you? so it's a new race lol they may be NPCs but not a playable new race.

I'm not sure they're talking about making the mammilian-human race they're introducing playable either. In fact, I'm pretty sure they were taking it as suggestions for beast tribes.

I say no on the Ivalice races just doesn't fit. But I do believe we need more beast like races. One of the things that saddened me most in this game is they took out a lot of distinction that taru-taru's, mithra, and galka's had from being just humans.

One race i'd like to see is a bird race, Yagudo would be really cool to play haha

it's not that I don't like the ivalice races, far from it I do believe them to be very unique. It's just we're already dealing with a mirror of Vana'Diel so we might as well embrace it or add new races

Whats this have to do with what I said? You said you wished there were bird races in FFXIV....there IS...because the Ixal (which are in XIV) are birds.

Ah my bad my mind mistook Ixal with that bird race from Revenant Wings for some reason.
