    We also have Berserk. I believe Ingolf is just listing what these effects did in other games

    Amnesia still have the same effect here. You can't use WS or magic spell during amnesia.

    I am confident some of these will come once LV-cap raises. We still miss a lot of spells/statuses/actions I think.... they cannot give them all out right now cause there would be no more to give after lv-cap raise.

    Some more contributions:

    Stone/Petrify
    What it does: Slow effect with countdown after which your character becomes stone -- Character is unable to move, make any action, and does not take damage. (Effective KO)

    how to cure it: Using Return, Esuna, Remedy/Panacea, or 'Gold Needle'

    --

    Aging/Old (FFV-inspired)
    What it does: Stats become that of LVL 1 character. Hair turns grey

    how to cure it: Esuna, Remedy/Panacea, Lasts 90 sec.

    --

    Curse (FFVIII-inspired)
    What it does: TP meter does not fill up. Defense cut in half

    how to cure it: Esuna, Holy Water, Lasts 120 sec.

    --

    Frozen (FFIX-inspired)
    What it does: HP/MP/TP does not recover. Character suffers double damage from physical attacks

    how to cure it: Esuna, Remedy/Panacea, Lasts 90sec.

    --

    Heat (FFIX-inpsired)
    What it does: Each action taken results in damage to character equal to 50% of current HP. Character suffers double damage from Magical attacks.

    how to cure it: Esuna, Remedy/Panacea, Lasts 90sec.

    --
    (modified the zombie effect that the OP had to fit better with FFV/FFVI style)

    Zombie (FFV/FFVI - inspired)
    What it does: Lose control of character which walks towards and auto-attacks allies - healing magic is inverted and damages character ('Raise' effects will instant KO) - skin turns grey-green

    how to cure it: Esuna, Holy Water, Remedy/Panacea,.

    We already have a version of amnesia (pacification), and things like Charm and Confusion would never work in this kind of game, as you are not FORCED to input commands, nor do you even need to stand within range to inadvertently attack an ally. The only way I could see that they would implement confusion, would be to make it so it jumbles up your controls (EI, up makes you go left, you hit skill key 1, it throws skill key 4), however this would just make people stop doing ANYTHING until their confusion was gone, and would make it equivalent to petrify, and therefore redundant.

    Charm exists in FFXI - you can see it happen all the time in Besieged. The server just takes control of your Character and it begins to attack your allies (they can attack you as well).

    So yeah, it wouldn't be difficult at all to implement it in FFXIV.

    Yep a lot of those status ailments were also in FFXI as well. I'm sure they'll eventually reintroduce them all to some extent. (Yes even toad was in XI in a form.)

    I still remember battles in FF6 that is easier if you let your whole party remain zombied.
    Death => Raise
    Cure => Damage
    Unholy magic => Cure
