Either way - they obviously dont agree with whats happening so they are changing it.

But they are slow to respond, tentive to respond, whatever word. Just like what happened with Garuda - were a bunch of people did really easy fights and got loaded with her weapons. Now everyone else has to slowly climb the mountain as the BLM burns giggle at you because they got to keep theirs.

Now this is partly due to information I didnt know previously, apparently they were on a really important holiday week; however, when they came back they should have fixed what had happened.

How about they just do the fix they did and have that be it. I used the dawn drop "exploit" (not really an exploit), but it didn't make me filthy rich...it made me NOT broke. While everyone is talking about how they just blew 20 mil trying to triple-meld, I've never HAD 20 mil (and still don't). I loved this event 'cause it gave me a chance to get a LITTLE bit of spending money. Gil sinks are coming in 2.0 (housing, chocobo raising, etc), there's no need to take away anyone's gil no matter how they got it.

Yeah, but the way to do that was to sell the crystals in the market wards, which isn't creating new gil, and therefore isn't causing any kind of inflation. I grinded my way to the 500k seal achievement, and I know from doing that, that making big money off dawn drops is NOT something to be worried about. It takes FOREVER.

Takes a long time but thats what bots* are for, specially if you are an rmt. Get each one of your alts to be running the same script with a stack of crystals/seals. Damn. Thats a lot of gil.

* Dont use bots they are illegal

Also RMT's are loving this event, every player gets a free 5K from this event. SE gave every rmt alt named adfhasdkljf asdkjfasdkjfe ~1/2 mil.

I never suggested 1 dawn drop = off with your head. I said that all sold dawn drops would be returned (losing the gil gained but getting the seals back).

Learn to read 'W'!!! You can roll back parts of data and leave other parts.

If they have the tools to do what I said then its no problem; however, someone made a good point that they probably have some pretty shitty server manipulation tools* - and thus be impossible (or almost so).

* Logical that they wouldnt add too many features to a system that will get scrapped, but I really hope they dont skimp on their server side tools for 2.0

@OP erm hated stupid atomos thing as much as anyone...did it....1.0 people that didnt bother to make any cash now have a questionably deserved cash head start in 2.0. It's fixed don't be so silly
