Transfer Gil into Crysta

What if we have Crysta shop items that include cosmetic enhancements, housing furniture, or in-game mounts for a limited time, and the option to exchange Gil in large quantities into Crysta?

Keep in mind if this feature is used strictly for Crysta, cosmetics skins, mounts, and furniture, it will not be a pay to win feature.

As it is for the moment, there are many ways to purchase Crysta, ranging from credit card payments, to paypal, and I imagine there might be a PSN feature for the PS3 version as well. However there is not many ways to utilize Crysta, so I was thinking of ways to make Crysta more functional to enhance our swag.

It is okay to disagree, but please leave interesting ideas below anyways. I for one would like to transfer gil into crysta.

I know I have a similar thread going.. but transfering gil you can earn playing into crysta wouldnt net any money for SE it would actually lose money. Somebody would have to first purchase the crysta and then sell it for gil in order to make it a profitable thing for SE.

And I am not a fan of cash shops unless there is a way to obtain it by trading your in game normal currency to other players for thier cash shop currency ( crysta ), therefore giving everyone equal oppurtunity. With game time you wouldnt have something in your hands nobody else does.. but special mounts and gear on the other hand... It's just not right in a subscription game to have unobtainable items for some

SE will have to make the exchange rate from gil to crysta appealing for them. I don't expect crysta to be cheap. this is simply an option.

as far as the idea of furniture goes, that wouldnt be a bad idea for a gil sink. I think they said we will have houses in ARR, a small affordable type and a bigger more expensive type.. being able to further customize the home by means of using gil would help create an even bigger gil sink. sinks are always good for the economy.

However at the same time, if there's no way to legally obtain gil for cash, there will be people willing to buy it from a 3rd party bad man site to get these items :\ RMT sucks

Look... if it is cosmetic only then I have no problem with it. They will also need to be U/U.
Change your hair tokens, chocobo themed ballerina skirt with crap stats, sparkley fish tank for furniture where i can go buy a Ala fighting fish from the LL NPC and drop it in, all ok.

I am not ok with being able to purchase any items that will help your advancement in the game in any way or form nor am I ok with being able to convert Gil to Crysta or sell Crysta for Gil.

Anyway, not everyone can actually purchase Crysta in case you were unaware, so the whole issue is a moot point till that changes.
