    like solicitation, LOL.. mmk .. I didnt even know likes were tallied in this and as far as I can tell it isn't.. funny suggestion though. And I didnt find anything posted about this, so sorry if I dug up something from the grave

    they are. the medals over your character portrait are based on likes, not on posts.

    Relevant to topic:

    Diablo III has a real money auction house: Did that stop illegitimate RMT? LOL Hell no it didn't. you still have gold farmers, and you still have RMT who trade under the table and use Paypal or another service so that Blizzard doesn't get any transaction fees. The "Can't beat em? Join em" approach failed laughably hard.

    I would not be a fan of this idea. for reasons already stated by other sound minds above me in this thread.....but at the same time, if our mighty lords at Square-Enix cannot elevate this game to expected heights, and this becomes an attractive alternative to help recoup their massive losses, can it really be a bad idea? i mean lets all take a deep drink of the Kool-Aid here and think about this carefully.

    If Square-Enix gets desperate enough to implement anything even remotely similar to this outlandish idea, can it be bad?
    No....no, it would be glorious! it would help all those poor noobies just beginning thier grand adventure i say! and put those dastardly illegal gil sellers out of business! what bliss! no more cloned zombie hordes roaming the hills, just mindless lazy clueless noobies decked out in the most powerful gear their mommy's credit card can buy!

    How can this be a bad thing? HOW!
