If I read correctly he brings up both ideas, I dont really mind the first system. Definitely no to the second one though.

Pay for game time through using your gil. Its not a huge feature but it would take money from circulation. Like I said it wouldnt bother me if it existed.

Bingo. The only problem with the original proposition is the crysta to gil way. It would help retain people as well i think.

Why the hell would SE create something that people from Europe, Japan, and the hundreds of other locations can't even access?
