wow, really guys?? OMG IT LAGS SO HORRIBLE AGHHH THE END OF THE WORLD SO CHOPPY UGHHH RAAAAGGGEE... why is it that every one wants more and more and more for thier graphics.. I noticed 2 slight lag/glitch effect that were hardly noticeable. The enviroment looks like crap?? wtf, it looks fine to me. Why is nobody mentioning how much sweeter the gear looks on our characters now, everybody is just nit picking about small BS, and not even savoring the good stuff. what happened to the days of fun content and hours of endless play before graphics. Kids these days don't know anything about games , if it doesnt look good it's shit..what kind of theory is this


also, judging by all the playstation trademarks and logos at the end after saying coming soon.. I would guess this is the ps3 version.. the pc icon was off hiding in the corner n stuffs lol

I think some of us are coming off in a negative light because Yoshi-P, especially at E3, held back a demonstration/trailer because it wasn't up to what he considered the top quality that he wanted shown off. He said unless it was exactly the Final Fantasy XIV vision he wanted ingrained into people's minds, that there was no point in showing it. Then we saw this video, and.... it just seemed underwhelming to say the least. The limit break trailer just seemed much more epic and fluid. I'd share the lb trailer on facebook or to friends to sway them into subscribing much sooner then this one, even if it is the "PS3" trailer. When i read a new trailer was released, I got very pumped. But this one just dissapointed, just my opinion I'm afraid.

You're joking right? ALL of the in-game footage (except for the bits copy/pasted from the limit break trailer) are running at terribly low frame rate.

Seriously watch it again, it looks like its running on a toaster or something.

And even if YOU are willing to forgive them or whatever, remember these trailers aren't really for you and I, they're for marketing purposes, they're supposed to entice and excite new or returning players.

The limit break trailer was something cool and exciting that I gladly showed to all my friends who were even slightly interested in the game.

I really wouldn't show this trailer to anybody to be honest.

looks like its running on a laptop thats borderline netbook, they really need to rethink showcasing a flagship product on such a system, spend a few bucks on something decent

By the amount of rage everyone had in the other thread, I was expecting far worse. Really guys? It wasn't really that bad. The game is barely Alpha, yet. (inb4 "Hurrrdurr Remeber release?" We aren't dealing with the same people.)

Maybe this is part of an ongoing marketing scheme of some kind D: With Yoshi-P's idealism, I can't imagine him giving this trailer the okay without some good reason.

theres a new ps3 platform available on the 25th, just a shot in the dark there after thinking about your marketing scheme comment.

I didn't think it was even that bad, and the music was really cool.

If that's the PS3 version then I'm happy. (and it seems to be seeing as previous videos have a far higher quality to the textures)

People and their Grass fetishes I tell ya... lolz, I'm not sure what your seeing.. but La Noseca does have grass ( maybe less than than 1.0) but certainly La Nosceca has more Grass than Thanalan. Personal opinion mind you
