Should goblins be aggressive?

I mean who didn't love to hate goblins in FFXI? Everytime you saw one, you were overcome by dread and hatred. But, in FFXIV they are no more than scenery. Kinda disappointing. I'd love if Dalamud does something to the goblins in ARR that make them creatures to be feared and hated again.

I would like that too, it was always fun turning a corner and suddenly aggroing 4 goblins and you had to run for your life...usually ending in defeat.

Sadly though, due to people whining about dying in an MMORPG, they'd be on such a short leash you'd literally have to stand in their face to have them pose any threat to you.

I miss aggro goblins... I still panic when I have to run past one and I've been playing since closed beta. You would think I'd get over it already.

You can already do this in this game -- Also, mobs on aggressive tethers poses much less of a threat to you than you losing sneak and/or invis at the wrong time because the game doesn't force them to completely forget you or anyone else ever existed lol.

Lets get to the real issue here. When can I wear a goblin mask.

Every time I see a goblin I want to steal its mask, and since batman I will impersonate Bane at the same time.

Lore wise goblins are mostly friendly, as well as Sylphs and Quifims or whatever are those things that work on the limsa lominsa ships, which is why there are almost no aggro enemies from these races. Makes a lot of sense.

Yep for DoL -- You could trick out some mobs like Yagudos when trying to get the crest or a coffer for example that's usually good timing, here it doesn't matter as much since monsters that may aggro you will be yanked back almost seconds afterwards. The one thing that was annoying though was when everything could range attack you. Everything, it didn't matter if it was a mamrot or a crab, it had a range attack.
