A number of players will put an item in their retainers bazaar, for 99,999,999 or some other large amount that no one will spend on the item in question. They do this, so that their retainer isn't kicked out of the MW.

If I remember right, your retainers have a 168-hour lifespan in the wards that resets every time you interact with them. An item in bazaar isn't necessary.

All the 99M items are:

- glamor gear for retainers (coliseum set only exacerbated this problem)
- extra storage (items in bazaar don't count against inventory space)
- pride and showing off (5x melds usually)

I was shopping for a new weapon for my 19 conjurer earlier today. I saw a R17 cane for 1,000,000. IMHO, I think a certain group of people are exploiting the system.

Oops almost forgot.

If people really want to show off theirr UBER items, find another method. These retainers with only 1 item up for sale may be preventing other players form hanving a retainer in the wards.
