D3D 11 does not just magically make things prettier. And adding support for D3d 11 would most certainly cause more problems than benefits.

Never said it makes the game magically better. But they do have feature differences that allow you to do things easier then in the other versions.

(the stairs is a stupid example though...), the crysis video I posted a few posts ago is a good example.
