Trailers are made to show it off after all, and with the game edging closer and closer to release, the atmospheric future of the game is uncertain.

And the idea that gameplay being more important than visuals is true. But the visual direction you take should complement the world you've created. It needs to capture the imagination and excite the player, and right now, it ain't looking so hot. Especially with that stuttering in the trailer for the version that's supposed to run smoother.

Sad to say I get less and less pumped about this game with every update and I'm not sure how long I'll play after its release. I'll give it a shot, but beyond that, I'm just not sure.
It really seems this game has no solid direction on what it's trying to be. It feels like this game is trying to be everything else.
