He meant in game :P lol
It does indeed have a photoshopped feel. I felt like that was what the very very very first screenshot of 2.0 was like lol.
Sure it can, Alpha/Beta Metamorphosis sure you can see major difference in the FFXIV 1.0!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-99sSSS3eP4
there is no difference in the models.........
And yet your calling people Blind XD. Look closely and you see the difference my friend
( Lighting changed, You can actually see the creases in the concrete, Color Enhancement)
FFXIV 2.0 can do the same thing, just you know.. people love to complain before these "Changes" take an effect.
Graphics wise ( even though its a downgrade) I still feel there's nothing wrong with the graphics, could it improve? Certainly.
What I'm more worried about is Content/Gameplay

I could see the difference it's like looking at standard def compared to high def there was more detail in the beta than there was alpha and Rokien you can take that information to the bank since I worked with Televisions and had to know this and walk my customers through initial setups on their philips Hd lcd tv's so i've seen this type of thing before.
I have a secret to tell. From my electrical well. It's a simple message and I'm leaving out the whistles and bells. So the room must listen to me Filibuster vigilantly. My name is blue canary one note* spelled l-i-t-e. My story's infinite Like the Longines Symphonette it doesn't rest- TMBG Birdhouse in your Soul
A huge THANK YOU!!!! For FINALLY selling the Meteor Survivor Polo on the store. AND a huge thanks to my friend who bought it for me while he was at Fan Fest!!! YES I finally have my POLO!!!
Yes and no, I can take an image and get a great idea of how the game will look. But until you actually have a game running on hardware infront of your very eyes you'll never be able to actually see the game. I've seen plenty of games that looked amazing in screenshots but looked like shit running on my pc of ps2 or what ever. and vice versa.
As for this, I imagine it may be ps3 settings, or it could be that they put out the wrong video which seems to be the case and we'll find out come new video release. Also anyone who thinks the limit break trailer was CG'd is an idiot.
I've played plenty of pc games where I can downscale it down to virtually cartoon settings to make it run, and then upscale it to super high realistic settings.
The difference between them is lighting and shaders, which I'm sure will be exactly the same with ARR. What Rokien is referring to is that the in game models didn't change at all.
He's right.
Personally, the only thing that I see off in that video for TGS is that the shaders seem to be missing.
I really wish they would release a video WITH all the bells and whistles so people's minds could be put at ease (including my own). I'm sure they would if they could. They probably just can't right now.
^ what he said lol
If you are referring to me mentioning photoshop I was referring to the crappy image that was released recently - that looks worse then the game looks even right now. So I was saying it looks like a what the very first images of closed alpha 2.0 would look like if we ever got them.Yes and no, I can take an image and get a great idea of how the game will look.
