    They still used old resources - but yeah the lag being gone has helped. I think there would have been a negative reaction to it though even if they had it fixed the first time. There are a couple scenes that if you freeze frame - they look like 2003.

    They should have only shown the grid area as well XD.. that area is their best showcase so far. -Everyone- loves that area now.

    It'd be tough for any areas to be as boring as the current areas are. Graphically they are pretty but they are also some of the most boring copypasta terrains I've ever seen in a MMO.

    I personally think that it still looks like an upgrade. We haven't seen any extensive running around the other areas.
