Star you can give out opinions but you can't take them? It's one thing to be optimistic but you sir are a fanboy which is fine(read most of your threads/comments). But when people voice their concerns that's all their doing. I'm playing this game as an average gamer, I have no ties to any other game currently but this one and I rarely post. When something concerns me, I comment and give my personal opinion just like during alpha and beta 2 years ago. I don't want that mistake to happen again where we all say "yeah it's just alpha" and hope something amazing comes from it.

Fanboy? nah I am a "fan" though but I am no "Fanboy" I just like to stay positive, because no one else in here really understands that word much, everyday is "What did SE do wrong this time?" Type comments, so I am here to merely just keep people in good Spirits, nothing more nothing less.

FYI, I haven't been playing FFXIV much because real life stuff, and I feel there no point to right now until ARR.

and Yes I can take opinions just fine.. Rokien on the other hand... ( think happy thoughts.. you can do it starlord)

I was really looking forward to the new trailer, and hopefully seeing SE put it's best foot forward and alleviate some of the fears/concerns that have been circulating about the forums, and instead have only managed to reinforce the reality that my pleasingly lifelike character that i have spent quite a bit of time developing, will be replaced with a dead eyed plastic looking toon.

But at least the world looks better? i guess?

Is this a good trade off? .....maybe i should attempt some positive thinking in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary and just convince myself that it is an issue that will be addressed after launch.

Saying that this is bad because "Duh well OBVIOUSLY it's from the alpha of iOS version!!" is not a fact.

It's you thinking they're intentionally advertising the game to the world with the worst version.

I suppose it's still somewhat valid. Now we have an interview stating it's PS3 footage; only strengthens my post I suppose.
