I hope so. XIV really needs to step up in storytelling.
I would be shocked if they removed content. If anything, I'd say they're probably improving on it, considering Parley is getting removed.

I would love to see more of these stories. The WEA, BSM/ARM & FSH stories were some of my favorites in the game and they need to continue all the guild storylines. I much prefer these continuing stories to just more random NPC quests although we need more of those too.



They better not take them out (there's awesome achievements for them!!). We need MORE story and MORE class quests, not less.

I think it was in the third letter from the producer where they mentioned parley will be removed and possibly put back once the Gold Saucer arrives. And yes I love mini-games too. Gold Saucer will no doubt bring a lot of those. I'd also love to have a card game to play against other people. Hopefully something other than Tetra Master. Or maybe some kind of board game. It would be fun seeing two people sitting down at a table playing it.
As for guild quests I'm not sure but anything that is different from the generic questing system a lot of MMO's are getting would be welcome. Especially for Final Fantasy fans where story is important. On a side note I also remember Yoshi saying there would be some areas in the leveling zones designed so that people can go and do something there. If I remember correctly he says the difficulty would be determined by how many people happen to be in the area doing it. Kind of sounds like Guild Wars 2's dynamic events. He didn't give any specific examples though. Not that this has anything to do with the thread but it's something that will help break up any monotony caused by having only the go there and do that quests.
