This was the actual image I wanted to post, it gives you a better idea of the size and shape.

The unit has head orientation and position tracking with unprecedented low latency. I am very interested in what it would be like to play "disembodied" using a VR headset. What I mean is, I am not really interested in play an MMO in the first person, since I do not want to be a character that does spins and backflips, but I want to watch a cool character that does so, but also happens to be me. In a way, I want the user's viewpoint in VR to be the same as it has always been, as a floating camera. However, it would be 3D and completely surround the user.

One thing I'm wondering is if the player will feel full sized or if you'd feel like you were looking at an expansive miniature diorama where your desk should be. Would it be OK to have the same "camera" controls when *you* now feel like you *are* the camera. If that doesn't work then what would be the ideal way to control your perspective?

I shouldn't think too hard about this now since it is making me very impatient for March when the kits start shipping.
