A possible solution(?) for "segregating the community"

I would settle for them just using duplicate server names for regional servers.

i.e.
Ridill [jp] Ridill[us] Ridill[eu]
Masamune [jp] Masamune [us] Masamune [eu]
Durandal [jp] Durandal [us] Durandal [eu]

etc...

If people are going to be moving for better latency I'd rather keep my server name and lose as little friends as possible.

I actually like this idea, as I don't really want to move servers. I know a lot of great people on Ridill and it would suck if there's some confusion on the regional server stuff.
