I'd love for a Samurai to dual wield a GK and Sheath, what an utterly interesting idea


It would be cool to have it as a sub-weapon, similar to Grips for 2 handers in XI. They could even add in special Iai-strike abilities for SAM that require one to be equipped.
As for dual-wielding, it damn well better be 1 weapon in the main and 1 in the sub slot. Part of the point of DW is to be able to equip 2 different weapons for stat boosts etc.
Speaking of Ninja though, I'm curious to see how Throw & Shuriken will work this time, given they are removing ammunition & consumable throwing items. Also, Ninjutsu had better be MP-based and not tool-based like in XI, or NIN will just be ridiculously OP due to the removal of recasts. Please SE, make NIN a DD/Enfeebler again and not a blink tank... >_<
EDIT: Well, at least we don't have to worry about abusing Haste in this game like in XI, so DW won't be quite so degenerative (and hopefully neither will be Utsusemi).
