d/c during atomos, now getting 13001 anytime I try to log in :(

Ok so, last Thursday night during the beginning of the Atomos fighting, I got d/c right after we exited Cutters Cry. Well, not d/c so much as my son X'ed me out of the window (which he has done too many times because he waits till I get up to shut myself down to open MSpaint... but off topic...) Anyways, so I tried to log in right after that, and I was getting a 13001 lobby server timeout error before I could get to the character selection screen. I tried restarting, system restore, and still nothing (that was just that night) I chalked it up to lag because everyone and their mother was @ Bluefog waiting for event to pop again.

The next morning, I logged in on my husband's computer while he was still sleeping. When he woke up, I tried to log in on my PC again, and still got the error. I logged myself back in on his pc and returned to my inn to see if it was still lag from the camp (he has a better PC than me, so I just figured it was him being able to handle the load better) No dice still :/ I've done searches on various forums, and 9/10 times people get this error because of maint. but that wasn't the case for me. I've tried disabling my antivirus/firewall, making a new windows user admin and logging in there, various system restores, uninstall/re-install, doing all my windows updates, and most recently updating my video card drivers (which actually made it worse, because now every time I even try to OPEN ffxiv I get the "Final Fantasy XIV has stopped working" thing pop up. It's not something to do with my character being hacked/banned because I can log in fine on my husband's PC.

The last two things I can think of are reformat (which I have to pay for since I can't find my install discs), and buy a new PC which we were hoping to avoid.

Any ideas appreciated! At this point I'm willing to throw anything @ the wall and see if it sticks >< Thank you!

[problem resolved]
I tried resetting my IE to default settings, and then re-updated video card drivers from the actual website instead of letting windows update it. After restarting and then going through all the updates again I was able to log in.

So strange, but glad it's done with, and I hope no one else has this problem lol it was so annoying.
