Housing in ARR

Something I am unclear of. Will I need to be a member of a Free Company to get housing or will I be able to do this solo. I am hoping solo as I do not want my personal space being controlled by someone else. I have all but 2 of my crafts to 50 and the rest above 45 and I am looking forward to spending a lot of time develping a place to reside but not if it is part of a Free Company.

I'm unsure how it is going to work but I am hoping there are both completely solo road to home ownership and also Free Company housing. I wouldn't like anyone to go without housing just because they like to play solo.

And that's saying a lot, I usually fall on the side of 'group up for everything!'

From what I've read you can get a house without a Free Company. However there are either (or maybe both) housing/guild house for the Free Company in particular and/or upgraded house potential for yourself once you've joined a free company.

- You can have your own house regardless of free company

- With a free company (A & OR B - I'm not sure of which)
A Upgrade your house further than without a company
B Get a guild house

Yeh, i think free company is like legalizing "static groups"
Dont think houses will require being in one.
