That aside! The details can be nitpicked to death, and there are some I'm still eyeing warily as we move forward, but personally, I just hope ARR actually feels like Final Fantasy. Currently, there are aspects of Final Fantasy there, but they seem to be added on as an afterthought (or, they WERE added on as an afterthought and it's blatantly obvious).

I'm glad to hear that even the music is getting a new "look". Granted, I was absolutely ecstatic that Nobuo Uematsu was doing the entire soundtrack when XIV was originally in development, but in terms of leaving 1.0 behind and not looking back (except as a lesson for the future), I think that was probably a good decision.
