    lol I specifically didn't use realism, as their is no 'issue' and it isn't about that.

    The game is being changed, regardless of my personal feelings on the change, I saw an opportunity to evolve/change the ARC/BRD class, give it a reason to have several cool effect on the bows and explain it away by creating some game lore making ARC/BRD part or full DoM.

    But yes you baited me into a silly reply that really had nothing to do with my original post. Congrats for that lol..

    For the people complaining about the relationship between arrows and carpenter, relax. You'll be able to craft house parts and furniture which will sell at higher profit. If all the promises from Yoshi-P are going to happen, the housing system will be so awesome that people will invest on their house and free company building A LOT.

    No, I'm just saying that the change is literally inconsequential and does not warrant changing how an entire class plays so that we have an "explanation" as to why we don't have arrows as an item.

    I always liked the idea of arrows having effects, after i first read about it, and i had hopped in 2.0 this would happen.
    Not wanting the class to change is understandable though, i just think it would be a change for the better, making it more complex and adaptive.

    This just gave me an opportunity to voice my feeling.

    What's next? You want "lore" to explain why mages suddenly have different casting animations, "lore" to explain why we can suddenly jump and more "lore" to explain where the crafting/gathering minigames went?
    It's the best decision for the class and it's nothing worth complaining about.

    While i stated my dislike I didn't complain, and if the post is read in full, that should be clear tbh.

    I just offered up a opinion on a way to add some lore to the game and evolve the clads giving it elemental and/or status effect abilities.

    So no i don't want lore on why the game is getting cosmetic changes.
    Or fail to understand why a lot of people will see the removal of arrows as a good move.
    But that doesn't change or effect the idea in my original post.

    Were not losing lore atm, were losing something that seem logical, and I'm just putting an idea of how to give us some lore and create something new from the change.
    I suppose you want lore/logic put in the game to explain why our characters don't ever have to use a restroom as well ;D

    You lose arrows and gain furniture. I think you're winning out more on that trade.

    BRD will never be DoM till the class looses its bow and turns into a proper Bard.
    BRD is a proper bard already. Rather than being a pansy edwardian bard it's based on the classic bard.

    * The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
