    Like skyrim for example. It takes away from the immersion
    Because it's such awesome gameplay standing in Markarth waiting for the guards to finish target practice so you can swoop in and collect them, then using the wait function to bring them back out once night falls.

    The only time ammunition makes for an interesting mechanic is survival horror games where proper conversation is a key to success.

    So you play every shooter with infinite ammo on? Good to know.

    Before you say "I DIDN't say that!"

    You might have well said it, because it's a pain to pick up ammo and is uninteresting because it's only fun to have ammo in survival horror games.

    No, but I do pick up the dozens of guns scattered about the map. Ammo isn't an issue in modern shooters.
