FINALLY.

This is why most people used windower in XI and the equivalent in XIV. Windowed mode is ugly and full screen locks you into one task.

I was so disappointed when XIV didn't let you alt tab, it's such a basic thing to allow.

Echoing what others have said. Full-screen windowed mode is also a must for any modern game especially with multi-monitors being so common now. This mode allows you to do things on another monitor without having to minimum the game on the main screen.

full screen alt tab is better as you need full screen for SLI or CF.
