I'm not going to get into it with the idiots who think this wasn't an exploit. The only people moaning about this are the ones too lazy to make gil legitimately. SE is full of shit as well. They are trying to save face with their patch statement. They 100% did not intend or consider that people would be buying up dawn/blood drops en masse and creating money out of nothing. The statement they issued helps them save face from a terrible oversight.

I'll still be able to generate gil using my own tried and true methods so I could care less about this. Hell, I only used this event to get a single 25k weapon as I had the other ones I wanted way before Atomos. I didn't give two shits about the dawn drops because I knew it would be patched sooner or later and also because I really had no need to utilize them to make gil due to my other methods, (you know actually playing the game rather than afking at an Atomos camp for an hour while waiting for his nightly spawns).

The reason this got so popular though is that even though the Gil-Per-hour with Atomos was actually less than more lucrative methods, it was easy for people to do this as it required zero effort. The easier something is the more people will flock to it even if it actually isn't as efficient as something else.

Which is true, they made a community event but didnt expect the community to do it lol. I sometimes just came to the camp with him already dead and got a free cluster +~3 crystals. Or when they changed it ~10-17 crystals.
