they should just add jump in a way so it fits to lala and all other races in an appropriate way (with downtime so nobody abuses it and perhaps automated nice animated version for cliffs, bit bigger distances and such).

I bet the ppl who like jump are happy and the ppl who don't won't be pissed about it (at least not for long). Since its only a bit of more immersion into the 3D world.

I dont think ive seen someone quit a game cause there was a jump feature, but i think ppl quit if they feel restricted too much. And honestly, if ppl leave because of a jump feature its an excuse for leaving something they don't like anyways

Perhaps some are wow spoiled (never really tried it) but the mmos i played so far where you CAN jump, ppl use it not very often, and depending on how its animated its not annoying as well.

And some ppl started jumping in games so they prevent auto-logout due to afk (which ff doenst have).

The few ppl who DO jump in an annoying way, will , if ignored, give up fast and after a while it will be used as a way of evading little cliffs, bigger rocks, trash on the ground... and well thats it.

The only other way that would make things feel more immerse would be automated animation to climb up or down, make bigger steps over stones, etc. but that would need much more development not to feel clunky...

(swimming is a different story since that is imo a great feature if used for story, underwater realms and such, but thats another story, so like most functions... if done right, it makes things richer, if you dont like it, dont do it)


Oh and: seeing ppl useing the laugh emote or the clap emote all over? that really has no practical use (which jumping can have) is better then?

I think in an mmo you just have to accept other ppl as long as they dont offend you. That makes a game much more fun. Be a bit more tollerant, or play a single player game. there are so many things that ppl could complain about. I dont like the fact every female character looks like a hostess.. but some ppl love it... its their way of dressing so WHAT? other ppl dress in pink which i think is ugly, but thats just me, so WHAT?... get my poin?

Bigger things have to be discussed, this is just another feature ppl CAN do if they feel like it.
