I've been playing wow for 5+ years and have never seen anyone "spam jump" Ive definitely NEVER seen a group of ppl just standing there hitting the space bar repeatedly. lol.. im sorry.. but that's just silly.Just about everyone I talk to on Selbina shares the same fear of jump-spam. I guess one could blame WoW's chronic misuse of the feature as the base of this fear. And from the maturity level I've observed on these forums, I don't think I can trust the players to not do the same. And knowing that alot of these people have a background in FFXI brings me some amount of shame. Just my two cents.
All in all, I'm not trolling or anything, just wishing to avoid a possible atmosphere-detracting annoyance. Simple pre-emption. I have faith in the devs to consider all pros/cons and choose what will suit the game the best.
Funny. I made an account with that free month subscription and seen about 4 people jumping in my first 10 minutes.....Now let's scoot down two weeks where I'm no longer just joining other new people.....Holy hell! Still people jumping while waiting and running around between quests.
(Look! A transition!)
Issachar has a perfectly good reason to worry. People get bored. You said so yourself, Rawry, that you see a lot of /emote strolling around through the chat logs. If people are so bored that they'll slap up /emote then what makes you think they wouldn't do the same with jump? Please in your next post though, try and refrain from pulling away from the subject by interjecting scornful remarks to make yourself seem more elaborate.
Mkay.. so here we go again. You take what I say and spin it like the desperate gnat you are. Did I say people don't jump? No sir.. I said people don't Spam jump....as in stand there and jump up and down for hours or even minutes on end. Id much rather people "jump spam" then clog up my chat window with emotes and bullshit. the fact that you're trying to make it something its not is laughable. Do you even know what your point is? or are ya just here to cry?Funny. If that is your worry, then I recommend that you make use of the Emote filter option. Anyways, trying to debate with you is akin to striking up a conversation with a wet cardboard box. Anything I say is met with dampered, predictable responses.

/laugh has an audio component
And arguing with you is akin to arguing with a 2 year old. Does people walking by you offend you to? how about 50 ppl using the same vendor!? GASP!

I encourage you, as a long term WoW player, to drop FFXIV and return there. It'll make everyone happy. That way, your qualms with the game's emotes won't bother you anymore.

My argument is based on experience, while yours is based on hear say.
You're a moron, dude. The fact that you've made ten posts without any evidence to support your claim of having a manual jump implemented, and also the childish behavior you constantly use to insult others, shows that you have absolutely no foothold over the topic you're talking about. The only excuse I heard so far is that you think /emote is annoying. Good job staying on topic, Alabama Pete.
