"Better ways to fix that issue" in your opinion.Jumping is the perfect way to fix that issue to me. =)

Jumping, climbing, swimming; I would enjoy all these things in Eorzea.
Jumping will just make underage kids jump around all day, to me that'll get super annoying....
I would be all for having a Jump Button.
I disagree. Ive played wow and Aion and this rarely happened. People "abuse" emotes more then they "abuse" jumping. I love when people get annoyed when people use a feature in the game btw. If jumping upsets you, maybe you should seek a psychiatrist. =)
Shooting yourself in the head is also the "perfect" way to get rid of a headache. <_<
Sorry lol I'm just being ridiculous now.
I still think it's important to say that some barriers are intended. For those that aren't it's much easier to just remove them than have people fidget with a way around them. I suppose though if you think a gameplay feature should be a debugging tool then I have no way of convincing you otherwise. D:

i guess you're kinda right. I played WoW with people. But XIV just doesn't seem right for it. With skills that take a while to use.... and invisible border blocks, jumping wouldn't get you anywhere. It would just be another "emote" kinda thing...
maybe they are intended.. but they don't need to be there. if you jump off something to high.. you die. end of. I just don't understand why you're cool with them.. letting you walk up hills, or slide down them.. but jumping up and down them is BAD!! lol..=/ jumping looks cooler..![]()
So what's the motivation to change anything if the end effect is the same? =/
