To be quite honest here I don't think SE is going to implement every idea of the people that already play the game. What it's all going to boil down to is whether or not this feature will attract new players.

We have to consider that as we speak and they work SE is losing money. They aren't going to spend this money on people who will probably end up playing it regardless of what happens. My point is that even with threads like this, well thought out and discussed or not, the decision lies with them and they are going to choose what would bring people back.

That being said I think a jump feature will be implemented, context sensitive or not. Why? Because the various small shrubs and invisible walls that block your path become annoying and will hinder the game play of any new or potential players. That's why we can walk through players and enemies now. Majority will always rule and I'm sure if we looked at the prospective audience beyond these forums the majority wants to jump.

Also if your worried about a game not being realistic enough maybe you should try this instead http://blog.codefront.net/wp-content...ide_mmorpg.jpg
