i'm sorry. what final fantasy atmosphere is there to destroy? i dont see iconic Whitemages/blackmages or chocobos, i dont see airships, i barely even see many iconic FF monsters around that much - nowhere near as much as all these new mobs based on real-world animals, correct me if i'm wrong but i havent seen Cid around anywhere either. i think about FF as we have atm is the victory theme and a few monsters and that currency is named "gil"
I don't see what your point is.i dont see iconic Whitemages/blackmages or chocobos, i dont see airships, i barely even see many iconic FF monsters around that much
"Because currently there are not "enough" iconic FF-esque things, jumping should be implemented in the future when these things are in place".
no my point is someone said it would ruin their precious Final fantasy atmosphere. lol when there's barely such a thing right now. yet they still play it and call it final fantasy and appreciate all the new things it's added to the "final fantasy atmosphere" regardless of how un-final-fantasy-ish it is, why is jumping any stranger.
I agree with the op, a designated location, with a static animation just like ffxiii. If jump were to be implemented, only in specific locations. I don't want to see a group of retards jumping off a ledge to jump back up all over the place.
Oh darling, I didn't want to see people with no fashion sense having the freedom to choose what they wear either (ugh so tacky!), nor did I wish to see aggro-indicators and other eyesores (oh what imbeciles am I forced to play with!). But dear, I've learnt to live with it.
