    Not going to read a whole 49 page thread, only read the last few pages so forgive me if this has been suggested. Allow it and make it cost a fair amount of stamina, say half a bar? Easy enough right? This prevents people from spamming it and allows for greater freedom of movement.

    Actually, giving it a stamina cost has been suggested. I personally feel that's a perfect solution.

    If jumping has, has, to be implemented (I do not believe it does) then make it part of the stamina bar. That will prevent the Tigger hopping. I think the terrain can be fixed to circumvent the need for jumping. The rumor mill is a-buzz with a rebuild of The Black Shroud. Why shouldn't we believe that they will correct the terrain issues at the same time?

    I can already see a nightmare occurring with this. Stamina use requires weapon to be out so this is what that scenario would pan out like:

    Running through La Noscea
    Attempt to jump down some small ledge
    ACTIVE MODE

    If you want to prevent bunny hopping, the jumping could be done the way it is in Monster Hunter. Run off a ledge, and you jump off it. Run up to a ledge, and you jump up and climb up it. It's simple and easy and you don't even have to think about it, and makes it feel much more natural.
    As long as there's no "jump points" you have to go up to and use, then I'm fine with it.

    Because (as it's been argued many many times within this thread), it's not just the need to jump down from ledges, but there are other bits of terrain you sometimes get hung up on, and the need to jump to get 'unstuck' isn't going to be detected by some kind of auto-jump. It needs to be a manual function to give complete freedom and a truly full range of motion.

    My space bar/0 key on my number pad isn't being taken up by anything, which is usually where the jump button is on the keyboard.

    Gamepad users... well, I don't know how to answer that since I don't play with a gamepad.

    Perfect solution would be to change the chat from opening via space bar to the enter key.

    NumPad0 isn't a traditional jump button placement, it's just where I bind it in all my other games. Sorry, forgot. >.<
