    Square Enix was very clear on how they operate back in 2010 when they often deleted thousands of posts in the beta forums that didn't agree with their own views, the amount of people that wanted the system replaced with an auction house was overwhelming.

    The armory system and market wards are two of the worst designs in mmo history. Unfortunatly they are keeping both. I hope for the best for V2 but I worry looking forward to how 1 weapon per class/job play out in the long run. The mws are a potentially decent idea, the implementation in V2 is worrying as they DID fail once already.

    I just hope they get it right this time around as no one wants to deal with a broken economic system like this in 2.0

    I have, I also read where Yoshi stated himself a lot of the updates we got even when he took over was stuff the previous (Tanaka) had in line for XIV, his work was starting around the Job system introduction and later.

    Also no, they're not the worse design in MMO history because it was actually pretty innovative to not be locked to 1 Profession per Character. I don't agree with weapon = class for obvious reasons, but being able to do everything n 1 character is far from a bad idea unless you really do enjoy shitty MMOs.

    The MWs were just lacking features (that they're adding and have been adding), otherwise it's not the idea, it is indeed the implementation.

    Meh.. the question is... why didn't they just implement a "Change Job" system instead of having your weapons dictate your class? Seems like they were just trying to be different from FFXI for difference sake... which isn't all that innovative to me... if you are simply trying to re-create the wheel... again... when we already have a functional change job system in FFXI, that easily can be transitioned here.

    Well.... I hate to burst your bubble but... Most of the hate for tanaka stems from shitty implimentation of BOTH the armory system and the market wards.

    I'm now lost as to why you disagreeded with me earlier on in this thread as we seem to have the same issues with the game

    And I am ok with that because that means I help shape the success of the game with new players, who have MW over AH. So SE would have accomplish their goals and vision for the game.
