The events themselves are not bad, it's the way they chose winners.. it's weird.

it seem people are more mad about the part that the rings dont' look very good vs what others have done and i have to agree. There a lot of other rings looking 10x better then the ones they pick but does not matter it's there contest they can pick whichever they like.

The triple-band design in the OP/contest (No.6) is a common style of ring composed of three independent, overlapping or intersecting bands. "3 band ring" in google images brings up dozens of results in the same style--this is not a case of copyright infringement, since the design does not carry a distinctive appearance associated with any brand or IP any more than a simple loop ring does. You can't patent/copyright a generic thing.

There's no excuse for the wing ring, though. Shameless.

When you get thousands of entries I wouldn't put it past someone to not look at them all lol. That being said - I have no proof and that is highly unbased conspiracy.

I would have liked to see 50 winners or something though, there were so many good rings in that thread ____* was managing. * Sorry blank, forgot your name :P
