Which can still be done in the appropriate forums. And would still be covered by "liking" one of the COUNTLESS proposals we already had.
scrapping current classes = making everyone lose all the progress they made
sorry not gonna happen
adding to the system is the prefered choice

They don't have to scrap our progress just allow us to spend our total accumulated SP into the new classes, then allow us to change our mind a few times in case we don't like that new class and want to try a different one. New players after the system is introduced would not get this option of course.

you are taking away our jobs we currently have, and like for most of us
this was already mentioned by Yoshi, and he stated scrapping current jobs is the least likely scenerio, and will most likely go with an advanced job system

Well that is fine, hit the "Like" for "keep as is" then, the whole point is to see what people want more.

I will be sorely disappointed if they pigeon-hole the jobs. They can provide uniqueness to classes without screwing over the Armory system.

Keep the current classes and implement a Job Title system ontop of it that gives bonuses for using specific skills.
I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.
bump.......................
@ Those who think you'll lose class progression.
All SE would have to do is change it so where you change to the classes like gladiator or whatever and then add in a skill system, where sword is highest on gladiator and axe is highest on marauder, etc. I would be in favor of such a system.
