    New class idea: Mechanic

While I have no idea if the magitek mounts will be usable in battle, it did give me an idea.
A new DoH class called a mechanic might be kinda cool and handy. Amongst other things, they would be able to do field repairs on the mounts, as well as craft upgrades to speed, accuracy and maybe weapons. Other things that might be crafted could include magitek arrows that explode on impact, stun grenades, numerous furniture items like lights and maybe radios that can be set to play soundtrack music.
Cid could be the guild-master, and I guess new blueprints might be something that could be found during certain battles or in dungeons. It would also give smiths a bunch of new items to craft. It might also lead to an interesting new job-type, although I don't have any idea what that would be yet.
Anyways, just a thought I had, I apologize if there's been something like this already suggested.

Engineer. Mechanic is more of a fixer then a maker.

After checking the replies so far: Of course! (smacks forehead) Any good airship will need a mechanic.
Also, Engineer might be better, or it could be the advanced form of mechanic.
This has got me thinking, maybe in order to pilot anything machine-like it should be required to have
mechanic and possibly engineer leveled up to a certain point. After all, many professional piloting jobs
require a certain familiarity with the working parts of the vehicle.
Actually, the job progression could go: mechanic->engineer->Pilot. Meh, probably getting too complex now.
