Indeed, it is in the external configuration programs. Here's a few tips for you when setting it up...

When you set the "Emote" button, that will also be the button for toggling Area of Affect on and off (I believe)
Open Macros (CTRL) is also used to tab to the right (i.e., cycle through screens with multiple tabbed windows)
Open Macros (ALT) is also used to tab to the left.
