Player Housing

I wonder if you'll be able to have a house in each of the different landscapes mentioned above. I'd like the option to have a house near the sea for when I'm fishing or in the forest when I want the solitude.

I'm hoping that since all my gatherers are capped and my crafters are all 40+ I can be self-sufficient about building my house(s). It was also cool that they touched on the free-company based housing, so sounds like both of them should come out around the same time hopefully.

It was be really cool to have each player have their own house, like shared with all our characters, and then have a estate for our Linkshell.

Wonder if they will allow shared housing. Me and my girl play and it would be cool to not have to save up and build separately.

Haha. I think you'd have more fun building your own home, I mean she could invite you over to her place and vise virsa, everybody could decorate their home differently so it would be cool that way.

Lastly, there are plans to implement huge spaces of land that cost a fortune!

From what I understand (taking last nights info plus what was said before), housing is going to work similar to LotRO except we will actually build the houses rather then them being already built (and have a functioning yard). Basically instanced housing communities in specific housing zones like the 3 originally mentioned. Certain plots of land will yield the option to make bigger houses, bigger yards etc but you pay more to get them.

As for more then 1 house, this is where having alts might end up becoming useful, what if you could give 'key rights' to your alts and inevitably you could have a plot of land at every zone!
