    I had this thought originally, but there really isn't any reason that an Evoker class can't be introduced at some point in the game. Perhaps it could be unlocked as part of a storyline quest?

    Naturally if you only associate an Evoker with stuff like Ifrit, Shiva, Titan, etc. then yes, it can't be included due to the lore, but there's nothing that says they can't use the huge amount of other summons that have appeared within the series before.

    Pandemona/Valefor/Typhoon = Wind
    Quetzacoatl/Ixion/Hydra = Thunder
    Mist Dragon/Bismark = Water/Ice
    Phoenix = Fire
    Brothers/Golem = Earth
    Seraph/Lakshmi/Fairy/Maduin = Holy
    Phantom/Shoat = Dark

    I'm missing a bunch, but you get the idea. They could even incorporate them as "lesser primals" or something that fall under their respective "greater primal".
