Since JP servers will be much closer, if I'm worried about lag, I have to join the "JP-only" servers. I have to downgrade latency because the loss of Americans and Europeans will really make it unfriendly to anyone who doesn't speak fluent Japanese...

Come to aegis server where the only people that really use auto translate are American and every post is in pure Japanese. There is always that rare exception but its not enough for me to find a person to do content with 24/7 like people are saying it is. Sometimes I might have to wait a week or 2 or more just to do content because I don't speak fluent Japanese.

Reki, the problem is not about the decision to have Data Centre, ppl welcome it for the sake of low latency, which is good, but they do not want to be separated just to have low latency... . People want both!

To stay international and having low latency! that what people wanted! Make it phase is much much better, is possible!

Except they're already going to make the servers less laggy, and remove animation lock. So this won't even be a problem in the first place.

The beauty of this game is its full of life all 24 hr. coz of international server.

I highly doubt a real human being is hooked playing for 24hr(unless your fighting cancer, hence the 24 playathon"Extralife" event).

Finally I will be able to play with more Japanese players! 日本が大好き！

The way I understand this( and I skipped like 10~12 pages of discussion) Data Centers are limited to region but Worlds aren't

...so even if stay in my world/server, I still can choose an NA data center for its benefits but the amount of international players won't change, right?
