Of course the efforts a new player has to make to catch up to the old players who used "abuses" or "expliots" (whichever word you fancy more) will be of disproportional levels.

Like level 1's making millions from Atomos, that's not going to happen ever without an event to be abused like that.

This is probably going to screw lower levels over more rather than less. The lower priced something is now, the less likely it will even change price. Materials and lower level gear will probably stay around the same because most players even after having their gil reduced, will still have plenty of money to buy those materials and low level gear. Therefore, those new players who are making nothing trying to level their characters will be using awful gear and will be less able to level their crafts. They then get frustrated, and quit. This could be a[nother] game destroying mistake.

Also, you should probably hire some temp GMs the week or month after 2.0 is released due to the shear volume of calls of people, from not only returning players but even current players, thinking their account was hacked because of their missing gil.

I have over 4mil now. Elect rum ore goes for about 2k each. I am as likely to buy electrum ore for 2k in ARR, where I'll have 400k, as I am likely to buy it for 20k now.

Yea, I'd honestly stop posting here at this point since I feel enough people have been enlightened and I can't bother to try to educate everyone, but at the same time I'm still screening candidates for my sig.
