There's nothing to get. SE is taking our gil that we worked hard for and for no reason. Tell me one good reason why they are taking everyone's gil, instead of just leaving it as is.

The change is all about perception... The current numbers look too big, I have always thought so since my first day. It just 'feels' better to see a level 1 Hempen Dalmatica for sale for 78 gil vs. 780 gil.

It's called the economy is bad and we're all taking the hit not just you... I might not be rich but shit man. We have a shitty economy even with npcs I mean think on it 62 +k to buy a piece of armor or something that's for lvl 25s and that's from an npc?
