If everyone's gil is cut by a multiple of 1/10 and all rewards from npcs, quests, and monsters is also cut by 1/10. There will be a permanent change to gil inflow. Prices will have NO CHOICE but to drop because no one will pay the original prices when they have less money (in number to number comparison less, but by % it has the same value). Only idiots would buy at the 1.0 price. People will price the new market according to the gil in circulation.

Basically SE has made every single gil number in the whole game drop 1 digit.
