If the prices are too high in 2.0 I will do what I do now. I will locate a crafter that can make the item I desire and farm up the mats myself (or buy if the price is right). Heck 90% of the time they have most of the materials laying around on a Retainer anyway. If I need materia I find others who have the same need, or who need 45+ xp and do a spirit binding party.

If I need an item I can craft and I feel lazy I look for it on the MW and seeing none, or too expensive I will craft up a few and keep one for myself and put the rest up at a more reasonable price.

If prices are too high I just don't buy. I will craft, gather, barter and trade before I cave to overpriced items.

If someone in one of my LSs is complaining something is too expensive in the MW I will make it for them or assist in finding them a crafter who can.

I do this all now, and will continue to do so in 2.0.
