people won't sell at the same price they are now, but it's completely naive to think the price of most items will drop to 1/10 of what they sell now. At best they'll sell for 1/5 but more realistically speaking 1/3 of what they sell now. It's even more naive to think that the same people encouraging this measure won't be the one overpricing, and/or buying overpriced items. Thinking that all the leathers and hides and junk items will go from 4000gil to 400gil is kidding yourself.

Prices go down and up every time. An item that is for 100k in the MW can drop down to 10k in 2 week and can be back up to 100k in 4 weeks after that.
It is worth for what the buyer think it is worth.
