
Just assume that hey have. 1 "new gil" will be worth 10 "old gil". Tada, crisis averted.They should consider just dividing the gil into smaller denominations. Other games ran into this problem too. In most recent memory, TERA did exactly what WoW did. They both started out with just gold, but ended up adding silver and copper denominations, with what was previously 1 gold equaling 1 copper. Everyone probably wants to keep gil so I don't know what they'd call it here though.
Still, it'd probably feel nicer to new players to get 1000 copper coins instead of like, 1 gil or whatever it's going to end up being now.
