yes, it is a proportional reduction, but it's hard to say that me losing 270mil while someone else loses 300k is really nothing more than a reduction.

you are correct that 2 people lose the same %, but you can't argue that everyone will have less.

Yes the number is less but so long as people accept the change the value will not be any lesser.
