    Maybe the new primals will drop parts to make the old and new gear, like garuda dropping feathers, ifrit nails and horns, etc.

    It would be confirmed if they ever list that post of unobtainable items in 2.0.

    They'll release it sometime after 2.0 is released probably given how long ago it was announced.
