Sorry if this has been asked and if I am beating a dead horse but I feel it needs clarifying cause there is a big debate as to its meaning in my LS.

Q: Will you wipe gil from our characters or change the currency with the launch of ARR?

A: No, there won't be a gil wipe. However, we do currently have plans to decrease the max digit by 1 (999,999,999 > 99,999,999)

Does this mean gil is being slashed? that my 1mil gil in my current inventory becomes 100k gil in a realm reborn? If NOT what happens to peoples gil who is over 100mil? does it go to the NPC like the items?

(I have played this game since launch and would have even paid during its free time, my subscription has never been canceled. But if my gil gets slashed, you could count me out cause that is spitting in my face basically.)

Thoughts ? Ideas ? Dev post(please)?

I can almost guarantee this is not what they mean. They just mean that the maximum gil cap is being reduced.

I am sincerely hoping that that is what it means, you have NO idea. Only reason I question it is because it says "Max digit" not "Maximum Capacity" or whatever

I'm so glad they gave Minfilia a more unique look. Talking to her during the story was so dull because she didn't look like the important person they were making her out to be at all.

I love the character re-design.

The only thing i like so far is the world design.

Animation and gameplay look awful at this point. I even hate the new archer battle animations. Too stiff... forced.

And please don't tell me you can't lock camera in 2.0

Just... don't.
