That's been a consistent issue with too many mages, I agree. I can heal this NM by myself, easily, and don't need help. We only have one who prefers to damage, and I suspect it's for the same reason I don't like to damage. I'm a BS and GS, so half the time my STR and DEX are upwards of 140. As such, it takes me 6 hours to spec into a DPS mage. BS requrires MND, so that's why I prefer healing. This is my opinion based on my observations, and I'm hardly an expert, but I think there was a lack of planning and communication amongst the mages, because they were overcuring and overbuffing, and they could have been contributing to the DPS a bit more. That's either poor planning or a lack of faith in the tank's HP pool.
Spirit Dart still does like 40-45 dmg a hit...probably around what any of your DPS were doing per basic. That's been a consistent issue with too many mages, I agree. Just my .02 cents in this sequel of entertainment.
Nice to know that Dips bored a hole into your head and detonated the kind of bomb it takes to create such an affected poster, but it's not going anywhere.
Nuking Uraeus outside a battle regimen is an exercise in futility. I should have spammed nature's fury in between though, that would have probably made the difference.
On any given NM night my INT is 105 and PIE is like 80. That's after a respec. My profundity tier II's do like 59 damage to uraeus witha jade crook+1 and mythril choker on. Blood rites do like 30. Basic nukes do 0 most of the time. I want to say my spirid darts do 11-25. I could have made up the difference in Uraeus' remaning HP over that 30 minutes though, and I don't have an excuse for not doing it.
If left to my own natural devices my PIE drops to 1 though. As a primary goldsmither, you're naturally aligned to be a DPS mage. As a blacksmither, I'm aligned to healing.

I haven't done any testing to back this theory up (Until later tonight), but I'm fairly sure INT/MND does not affect Spirit Dart damage. However, I may be wrong. PIE Probably affects the accuracy though. On any given NM night my INT is 105 and PIE is like 80. That's after a respec. Now I guess I have .04 cents in this topic :x

Magic attacks are based on INT and PIE just like nukes. If you ever have questions on what stat affects what, test on Braggodocios. Their stat curves are perfect at 70, 90, and 110 of a given stat. At uraeus it may not make that much of a difference since its magic defense is probably the highest of the nms.
